Days to Register
Per OAR 309, register with MHACBO within 30 days of beginning employment at a certified SUD treatment program.
Registration Fee
$100 for all new applicants beginning 02/01/2026.
Candidate Status
Candidate status lasts 2 years from the date your registration is accepted.
CADC Registration Requirements
Registration with MHACBO will place a CADC Candidate on the MHACBO Registry and bind them to the MHACBO Code of Ethics. Registration is completed and maintained inside of the online certification software, Certemy. Please read over the following steps, then click the button at the bottom of this page.

What is CADC Candidate Status?
Candidate Status is limited to 2 years and begins once a candidate submits their registration materials to be placed on the MHACBO Registry. During this window you complete the education, supervised experience, and examination requirements for CADC I certification.
