CADC Registration Requirements

Registration with MHACBO will place a CADC Candidate on the MHACBO Registry and bind them to the MHACBO Code of Ethics. Registration is completed and maintained inside of the online certification software, Certemy. Please read over the following steps, then click the button at the bottom of this page.

Complete the Application
The Registration and Demographics step inside of Certemy — takes about 20 minutes with your personal email.
Sign the MHACBO Ethics Agreement
Registration binds you to the MHACBO Code of Ethics while you are on the registry.
Submit a photo copy of your ID
A phone photo of your driver's license or state ID uploaded inside Certemy is fine.
Pay the registration fee
$100 beginning 02/01/2026 for all new applicants, paid inside Certemy.

What is CADC Candidate Status?

Candidate Status is limited to 2 years and begins once a candidate submits their registration materials to be placed on the MHACBO Registry. During this window you complete the education, supervised experience, and examination requirements for CADC I certification.

Before you begin: use your personal email to open an application account — do not use your work email. Use the Certemy link at the top of the MHACBO website to access your account in the future, and do not open multiple accounts.
